RESOLUTION NO. 78R-634
A RESOLpTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANA$IM GRANTING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT TO
STAR SEPRETARIAL AND PRINTING SERVICE TO MOVE
A COMMERCIAL BUILDING FROM 125 EAST BROADWAY
TO 703 ~ORTH ANAHEIM BOULEVARD, ANAHEIM,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS!, Star Secretarial and Printing Service did
file a written apblication for a house moving permit to move
a commercial buil~ing from 125 East Broadway to 703 North
Anaheim Boulevardl, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREASi, said application having been set for public
hearing on the 3r~ day of October, 1978 at the hour of 3:00
o'clock P.M., andl notice of the time and place fixed for said
public hearing ha~ing been given by mail to all persons
residing within ai radius of three hundred feet from the
property upon whi~h it is proposed to move said house, at
least ten days pr~or to the date fixed for said hearing, as
the names of such, owners appeared upon the last available
tax assessment ro~l; and
WHEREASI, said matter having come on regularly for
hearing upon said! date and said hearing having been duly held
and conducted and all persons interested therein given an
opportunity to be heard, and the City Council having duly
considered said at>plication for a house moving permit, together
with all evidence: and reports submitted in connection therewith,
does find that said permit should be granted for the following
reasons:
1. That the house, building or structure
proposed to be moved is comparable in value, size,
quality, desttgn and appearance of' houses, bu:1ld:1ngs
or structure~ in the area into which it is to be
moved; and

2. T~t it will not be detrimental to, nor
diminish thei value of property in the area; and
3. T~t less than a majority of the property
owners in thf! area object to the moving of the house,
building or ~tructure onto the property where it is
proposed to pe moved.
NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of An~eim that the application of Star
Secretarial and Printing Service for a house moving permit to
move a commercial building from 125 East Broadway to 703 North

Anaheim Boulevard,. Anaheim, California, be, and the same is
hereby, granted s~ject to compliance with all of the
provisions of Tit~ 15, Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and further :subject to the following condition:
That the owner shall dedicate five feet (5')
off the rear jof the property located at 703 North
Anaheim Boulelvard, Anaheim, California, for alley
widening purposes.
THE FOR~GOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Counc~lof the City of Anaheim this 3rdoday of
October, 1978. .
