OF ANAIWIM AND THE ORANGE COUNTY
COMMISS:QON RELATING TO MANPOWER
AND AUTaORIZING PRE CITY MANAGE.R
TO EXEC SAID 4GREEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS
THERETO ON BEHALP OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS,ithe Or~geCounty Manpower Commission
has rec.eived a gr*.t from tlhe United States Department of
Labor, Employment rand Tra~ing Administration under. the _
Youth Employmentahd DemonStration Projects Act of 1977,
to provide a Prog~ for D1isadvantaged Youth; and
WHEREAS,j _theOr8l1ijgeCounty Manpower Commission
agrees to appropr~1;e$158 ,:712.00 to the :City of Anaheim.
as Sub grantee for !fJts use in conducting and operating such
programs, such funds to be paid to the City of Anaheim as
Sub grantee for re1)nbursement of costs; and
WHEREAS,!.an AgreeJDenthas been prepared and
subm:1.tted to thecltty Councl1l for reviewcover1ng the Program
for Disadvantaged tcouth for the period October 1,1978
through September 60, 1979; and
WHEREAS,. the City Council desires to participate
in theaboveprogrf and ag#:"ee:S: to the requirements -tor
operating such a Y uthProgJ'am and to give the assurances. that
the City of Anabel.. will comply with all laws,regulati.ons, .
and execut1:veorde.sas more part1cularly set forth in said
Agreement; and
