A RESO~'.. TION OF tr.... HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANA ~M APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTI N OF AN ~GREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM! AND THE pRANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY
DEVELOP~NTCOUNpIL, INC.. ,RELATING TO THE
OPERATI~N OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS~. the City of Anaheim desires to provide for
a public service.~loyment program for unemployed City
res.1dents; and
WHEREAS, the Citt of Anaheim has received a Subgrant
from the orangect1mty ManJl>ower Commission to conduct a Public
Service Employmen '. Program! under the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act.. CETA) of 1973, as amended; and
WHEREAS~. theCitr of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency withj,pecial ]plowledgeand experience in operat-
ing such public s~~vice em;loyment training program; and
WHEREAS~.the OramgeCounty Community Development
Council, Inc. has;~t theJltequirementsfor operating said
pUblic serviceemU~oymerit ttrogram and is willing to conduct
such a program puJt_uantto. the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act (CET4) of 1973, as amended; and
WHEREAS ~ .the Orange County Community Development
Council, Inc. has i$ubmitte4 to the C1ty a form of agreement
providing for the ifurnishiqg of specialized services required
to conduct said P4ijlic serticeemployment program; and
WHEREAS.. the City Council finds that it would be i'or
the benefit and i11 thebesi; interests of the City to approve
the proposed agre~entbet'tteen the City of Anaheim and the
Orange County Comntunity Development Council, Inc., and that
the same should bel approved.

NOW, T.FORE, aE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of ~~eim tha~said agreement this day submitted
to the City Counc:lJl to be ntade and entered into bet,ween the
City of Anaheim ~ the Or~nge County Community Development
Council, Inc., prQV1ding fqr the furnishing of spec.1alized
services required ito condudtsaid public service employment
program upon the tlEf:rms and conditions and for the compensation
set forth in said cagreementbe, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RE~OLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and theyjare hereby, authorized to executesald
agreement for and bn behali' of the City of Anaheim.
