THE CITY 10F ANAHE:J:M AND THE ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER!COMMISSI$N RELATING TO MANPOWER
PROGRAMS lAND AUTH~RIZINGTHE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUtE SAID A$REEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS
THERETO ~~ BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, rtheOran~e County Manpower Commission
has rece~ved a gr~t. from tne United States DeP.artmentof
Labor, Employment+-nd Training Administration under the
Comprehensive Empl;ymentan(i Training Act (CETA) of 1973,
as amended to prov~ae public service jobs for unemployed
persons; and

WHEREAS"the Orange County Manpower Commission
agrees. to appro. prigt.. e $27.2,2".' 23.00 to t. he City of Anaheim
as Sub grantee ror ts use in conducting and operating such
programs, such fun s to be paid to the City of Anaheim as
Sub grantee for rei, ursementof costs; and
WHEREAS, ran Agree-1Jlent has been prepared and
submitted to the CJ.~y Councll for review covering the Public
Service EmploymentjProgram for the period October 1, 1978,
through December 31, 1978; and
WHEREAS'itheCity Council desires to part1cipate
in the aboveprogrE. and agt;-ees to the requirements for
operat1ng such PUb...!. c emplojyment programsand,;tQ::lgi vethe
assurances that th, City of Anaheim will comply with all laws,
regulations, and e . cutive orders as more particularly set
forth in said Agre.ment; and
WHEREAS" ,the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires. to author. ='. ~.. the City Manager of the City of Anaheim
to execute said A . ementand Modifications thereto on behalf
of the City of An , ' 1m.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City Of. An~, im t.hat said Agreement this day submitt.ed
to the City Counci~ to be $deand entered into between the
City of Anaheim a~ the Orange County Manpower Commission
relating to Publici Service Employment Programs upon the terms
and conditions set; forth in said Agreement be, and the same
is hereby, appro veld.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of
the City of Anaheiin be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute said Agreetnent with the Orange County Manpower Commis-
sion and modificatltons thereto for and on behalf of the City
of Anaheim.
THE FOREpOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Councilor the City of Anaheim this 3rd day of
