A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AN~IM APPRDVING AND AUTHORIZING TEE
EXECUT(ON OF AN, AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANA!$IM AND !PEE NORTH ORANGE COUNTY
COMMUN~!rY COLLEGE DISTRICT RELATING TO '
COMMUNtTY BASED INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION
IN BAste EDUCATION STUDIES.
WHEREA$~ the City of Anahe~ desires to provide
Community Based tndividualized Instruction in basic
education studie.for its< residents throughtheestab11sh-
ment of an Anaheim Educational Opportunities Center; and
WHEREA$, as a part of said Anaheim Educational
Opportunities Ce_1:er, the City of Anaheim desires to provide
Community Based Individualized Instruction in basic educa-
tion studies; and
WHEREAS, theCi'iy of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency with special knowledge and experience in the'
field of CommunitJy Based individualized Instruction in basic
education studies; and
WHEREAS, .theNo~th Orange County Community College
District is will~g to fuItnish such specialized personnel
and material as1ls required to provide Community Based
Individualized Instruction in basic education studies
services for the Anaheim Educational Opportunities Center;
and

WHEREA~, ,the North Orange County Community College
District has subutttted to the City a form of Agreement .
providing for th~furnishing of specialized personnel and
material required to provide said Community Based Individual-
ized Instruction:tn basiceducat10n studies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the propo.d Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the North Ora.pgeCounty Community College District, ,and
that the same shobld be approved.
NOW, T1$REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of ~eim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Counc"l to be made and entered into between the
City of Anahe'im atld the North Orange County Community College
District providint; for the .furnishing of spec1alized per,sonnel
and material requ!.red to pr.ovideCoDununity Based Individualized
Instruction in baalc education studies upon the terms and

conditions and for the compensation set forth in said
Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are lI1ereby, Bliuthorized to execute said Agreement
for and on behalf' of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOIeGOING RBSOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the C!ty of Anaheim this'-lI:d.. day of
