ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANA IM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXEC UTI N OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANA IM AND THE NORTH ORANGE COUNTY
COMMUNI Y COLLEGE DISTRICT RELATING TO
VOCATIO AL GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICES.
WHEREAS A the City of Anaheim desires to provide
Job Referral and Lfuidance Services for its resldentsthrough
the establishment rof a Job Development and Recruitment
Center; and
WHEREAS!.. as a part of said Job Development Program,
the City of Anahe m desires to provide vocational guidance
and counseling sevices; and
WHEREAS~ the City of Anaheim requires the services
of an agency withispecial knowledge and experience in the
field of vocation~l guidance and counseling services; and
WHEREAS~. the North Orange County Community College
District is willi g to furnish S.UCh specializ.ed. personnel and
material as is re uired to provide vocational guidance and
counseling servic. s for the operation of the Counseling and
Testing Componentiof said Job Development and Recruitment
Center; and
~
WHEREAS! the North Orange County Community College
District has subm~tted to the City a form of Agreement
providing for the!furnishing of specialized personnel and
material requiredito provide said vocational guidance and
counseling servic~s; and
WHEREAS ~ the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and in the best interests of the City to
approve the propo$ed Agreement between the City of Anaheim
and the North Ora+ge County Community College District, and
that the same Sh01Jld be approved.
NOW, TiliREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of An eim that said Agreement this day submitted
to the City Counc 1 to be made and entered into between the
City of Anaheim d the North Orange County Community College
District providint for the furnishing of speclalized personnel
and material required to provide vocational guidance and
counseling servic+s upon the terms and conditions and for the
compensation set forth in said Agreement, be, and the same is
hereby approved.

BE IT FU!THER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are h+reby, authorized to execute said Agreement
for and on behalf cbf the City of Anaheim.
