A RESOL~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEtM APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE MANPOWER
PROGRAM !ND AUTHORIZING DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS
FOR APPR~VED ACTIVITIES.

WHEREAS,. the City of Anaheim.. and the Orange County
Manpower Connnissio* desire to enter into an agreement to
establish and opert't., e a Comprehensive Manpower Program under
the provisions of ;ttle I of the Comprehensive Employment
and Training Act 0 1973 (CETA); and .
WHEREAS,. the City Council has reviewed and
considered a propo~~d CETA Title I Grant for the Comprehensive
Manpower Program ~. the amount of $876,089.00 from the City's
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act funds; and '
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
desires to authori~ethe City Manager of the City of Anaheim
to execute said Agreement with the Orange County Manpower
Commission on beha~f of the City of Anaheim.
WHEREAS, ,the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit ankI in the best interests of the City to
approve the propos~d CETA Title I Grant, and to authorize
the disbursement o'i' the funds for the approved activities
as allocated.
NOW, T~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Analheim that said CETA Title I Grant this day
submitted to the Qity Council providing for funding for the
Comprehensive Manpjower Program in the amount of $876,089.00
be, and the same :Us hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby authorize ~he disbursement of funds for approved
activities.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council Qf the City of Anaheim this ~ day of
