78-551 ~ ,.-., "-..,, RESOLUTION NO. 78R-~ A RESOLU'!'XON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEtM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABAN~~N CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AND FIXING A DATE F~~ A HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, .t:he City COWlcil of the City of Anaheim does hereby elect to pr~~eed Wld~r the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 (SectiCln 8300 et seg., Streets and Highway Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment of public streets l()cated within the City of Anaheim. NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City COWlcil of the City of Ana4~im does hereby declare its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described streets, to wit: PARCEL 1 That irregula~~y shape4 parcel, the north side of which is locatt~d approximately 20 feet south of the southwest cor~r of the intersection of Riverdale Avenue and St~Jtling Way. PARCEL 2 That irregula~~y shaped parcel, the north side of which is locat!ed appro.x:imately 40 feet south of the southeast cor~r of the intersection of Riverdale Avenue and Stalrling Way, as said streets ar~shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of the City Clerk df the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURWHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under- taken subject to th~ following reservations and exceptions in favor of the follo~ng persons or parties: An easement fo~ telephone, telegraph and communica- tion purposes ,five fee:t in width, in favor of the Pacific Telephppe and Telegraph Company over the northerly five feet of Parcels 1 and 2. !'~, BE IT FURWHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there- after as the matter may be heard, in the COWlcil Chamber in the City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on: September 12, 1978 -1- 77-25A .'-'" ~ BE IT FURrHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in the A~aheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula- tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim. ..-.."
