RESOLUTION NO. 78R-537
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLtN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 147,
EXHIBIT "A.' FOR AREA I; EXHIBIT "A" FOR AREA
II; AND NO CHANGE FOR AREAS III AND IV.
WHEREAS, t~e City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommenda-
tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, has here-
tofore adopted a Gen~~al Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July, 1978, the City Planning
Commission did hold a public hearing to consider a General Plan
Amendment. The General Plan Amendment does consider changing the
land use designation for the areas described as follows:
AREA I
A RECTANGU~ARLY-SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND CONSIST-
ING OF APP~OXIMATELY 3.2 ACRES AT THE SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF KATELLA AVENUE AND NINTH STREET.
~EA II
AN IRREGUL~RLY-SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND CONSIST-
ING OF APPRbXIMATELY 13.4 ACRES LOCATED SOUTH
OF MIRALOMA WAY BETWEEN THE RIVERSIDE AND ORANGE
FREEWAYS.
AREA III
A RECTANGU~ARLY-SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND CONSIST-
ING OF APP~OXIMATELY 47.7 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED
SOUTH OF T~ RIVERSIDE FREEWAY AND NORTH OF THE
SANTA ANA RIVER BETWEEN GLASSELL STREET AND
TUSTIN AVENUE.
AREA IV
A RECTANGU~.' RLY-SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND CONSIST-
ING OF APP~XIMATELY 5.8 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED
AT THE NOR~WEST CORNER OF ORANGETHORPE AVENUE

AND IMPERI~ HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning Commis-
sion did duly adopt ~ts Resolution No. PC78-l6l containing a report
~. of its findings, a s~mmary of the evidence presented at said hearing
and a recommendation that said Amendment to the General Plan desig-
nated as Amendment Nb. 147 be approved, in part, by the City Council
changing the land us~ designation for the aforesaid Area I in accord-
ance with Exhibit "N"; for Area II in accordance with Exhibit "An;
and making no change for Areas III and IV; and

WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of evi-
dence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Planning
Commission, the City Council did fix the 22nd day of August, 1978,
as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the City Hall as the
place for a public h~aring on said proposed Amendment No. 147 and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 147, changing the land use designation in the areas
aforedescribed, should be approved in accordance with Exhibit nAn
for Area I; Exhibit hAft for Area II; and no change be made for Areas
III and IV.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim thatl\.mendment No. 147 to the General Plan changing
the land use designation for the aforedescribed areas be, and the
same is hereby, approved in accordance with Exhibit nA" for Area I;
Exhibit "A" for Area II, and no change be made for Areas III and IV,
all in accordance with Exhibits which are on file with the City Plan-
ning Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning Department
be, and the same is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 147 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGO~NG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of August, 1978.
