FOR SA A ANA C,MYONNO. 5 ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY 0 ANAHEIM AND FIXING A TIME, DATE AND
PLACE F HEARING ON SAID PROPOSED ANNEXATION
PURSUA TO SEC!rION 35220 OF THE GOVERNMENT

WHEREA , a petition for the proposed annexation
des:1gnated Santa Ma Canypn No. 5 Annexation to theC1ty of
Anahei. in the C . nty of Orange was heretofore filed by the
City of Anahe 1m 1 as chief pet:1tioner, and accepted for filing
on March 2, 197tl by the Exe~utive Officer of Local Agency
Formation Commis :ton of Orange County , California (her.einatter
"Commission") psuantto Part 2 of Title 4, Division 2,
commencing with ction 35000et seq. of the Government Code;
and

land located bet en Santa Ana Canyon Road and theRi vers1de
Freeway, north Eucalyptus Drive, in the County of Orange,
and theexter:1o boundaries thereof are specifically described
in the legal des ription attached hereto and by this reference
made a part heref; and

its Resolut1on . .. 78-130" adopted on July 12, 1978 that the
terr1.tory propod to be annexed 1.8 un1.nhab1.ted; and

the City of Ana . '1m as se"t forth 1n the proposal there.of
submitte.d to theCommissi'on by the C1.ty of Anaheim are as

NOW, TfE..i REFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF AfAHEIM AS FOLLOWS:

pro.ceedings. purs.ua. nt to Section. 35220 of the Government
Code for t.annexation of the hereinabove described
territory t the City of Anaheim.

proposed to beanne~d may file a written protest 'aga1nst
theannexaton with 'the City Clerk of theC1ty of Anaheim
at any time prior to, the conclusion of the City Counc1l's
hearing on he proPQsed annexation. Each protest shall
state the e and address of the owner of the land
af"f"ected a thestr!8et address or other descr1.ption
sufficient 0 identify the location of such land. Protests
may be mad on behalf of an owner by an agent authorized
in writing y the owner to act as agent with respect to
such land. " Protests may be made on behalf of a private
corporati~' which is an owner of land by any of'ficer or
employee 0 , the corporation without written authorization
by the co oration to act as agent in making such protest.
