lateral pipe, .linsta11ation of traffic signs, signals
and interconnebt system, pavement marking and striping,
erosion contr~ and appurtenant work in accordance with
the plans and ~e1ineated in specifications on file in
the Office of_J~he City Engineer, A.H.F.P. Nos. 908 &
909, Account ~. 13-792-6325-2130.

WHEREAS, ~. he City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, pro iles, drawings and specifications for said
pUblic improvement bove mentioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practic and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of thel City of Anaheim and the citizens and
residents in said a~a for the purposes for which they are
intended, and, that hey are adequate for the construction of
said public improve nt and should be approved.

BE IT FUR ER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
publish a notice ac ording to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of al plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and a1lti1ities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct
and complete, in a sood and workmanlike manner, in strict
accordance with sai~ detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings
and specifications ~s prepared by said Public Works
i , the public improvements hereinabove
men bed, and fixing the 7th day of September,
1978, at the hour 2:00 o'clock p.rJI. as the date and hour for
the-opening of sai~ bids at the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City ofi Anaheim, and that said notice shall be
published twice, t~ first of which pUblications shall be at
least ten (10) daysl prior-to the date fixed for the opening of
bids, and that sai~ publications shall be at least five (5) days
apart.
