A RESOL~ION OF ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEOOM ACCEP~ING A NEGOTIATED PROPOSAL AND
AWARDIN~A CONT~CT TO A RESPONSIBLE PARTY
WHERE S~D PROPOSAL CONFORMS TO THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM'~ REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL LEGAL ADVERTISING
REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE PUBLISHED IN A NEWSPAPER
OF GENE~L CIRCULATION, PRINTED AND PUBLISHED
WITHIN 'lItE CITY.
WHEREAS,: the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did, .in accordanc~ ,with Sedtion 517 of the City of Anaheim
Charter, cause to Ibe negot~ated a proposal for all legal
advertising to be lqone by the City of Anaheim and required
bylaw to be publ~$hed in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed and publ~~d with~n said City, for the year
commen.cingAugust "];, 1978 ,and ending July 31, 1979, in
conformity with t~specif1cations for such advertising
which spec~ricati~s are m~ked as and incorporated by
reference to Exhi~t "A," "Specifications for Printing and
Adver.tising of the City of Anaheim, Ser~es of 1959, n on
file in the Orfice of the City Clerk of the City or Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS" the City Attorney of the City or Anaheim
did negotiate with the Anaheim Bulletin the attached proposal;
and
WHEREAS" the City Council rinds that the proposal
negotiated withtl1e Anahein1 Bulletin, 232 South Lemon Street,
Anaheim, Calirornjja 92805, responds to the City of Anaheim's
requirements in q1..tality, f:1tness and capacity necessary for
the publication of all legal advertising of the City or
Anaheim required by law to be published in a newspaper or
general circulation, printed and published inside the City;
and

WHEREAS s . the City Council further .finds that said
negotiated proposa:1 with the Anahe1In Bulletin conforms with
thespec1f1cat10na for sa1d advertising on f1le 1n theOff1ce
of the City Clerk <)f theC1ty of Anahe1m and that theAnahe~m
Bulletin is respon$ible, and that the proposal negotiated with
the above-named pa,Jrty should be accepted and a contract
awarded to said party in accordance therewith.
NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of An~Ulleim that the proposal negotiated with the
Anaheim Bulletin, 232 South Lemon Street, Anaheim, California,

for the furnishing of all legal advertising to be done by the
City, required by. law to be published in a newspaper of
general circulat1.,Qn, printed and published within the City of
Anaheim, for the ~ear commencing August 1, 1978, and ending
July 31, 1979, inconformity with the specifications on file
in the Office of tiheCity Clerk of the City of Aneheim be,and
the same ~s herebw, accepted and that a contract for said
legal advertising be, and the same is hereby, awarded to said
above-named party.
BE IT ~RTHER REjSOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk of t~! [City of Anaheim be, and they are hereby,
authorized and d~ected to make, execute. and enter into,
for and on behalf.of the dity of Anaheim, a written contract
with the Anaheimaulletin for the furnishing of all legal
advertising to be 'done by the City, required by law to be
published in a newspaper of general circulat.1on, printed and
published within tiheCity of Anaheim, upon the terms and
conditions as sped~fied in the negotiated proposal, the
specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk of
the City of Anah~ and in strict accordance with the terms,
conditions and pI'\tqvisionsof this resolution.
