A RESOLUTION ~F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GIVING NOTICEiOF ITS INTENTION TO SELL CERTAIN REAL PRO-
PERTY AND OFFtRING SAID PROPERTIES TO VARIOUS PUBLIC
AGENCIES FOR tARK, RECREATIONAL OR OPEN SPACE USES.
WHEREAS, the q:ity of Anaheim is the owner of fow'-, parcels of
property described as f~llows:
Parcel 1 - Lot 73 in tract No. 1820, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, p.ges 31 and 32, Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange ~ounty, California.
Subject to'easements and reservations of record.
Parcel 2 - Lot 44 in Tract No. 1931, as per map recorded in Book 54,
pages 9 thtough 11, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, Caiifornia.
Subject to easements and reservations of record.
Parcel 3 - That porti~n of the East half of the Northwest quarter of
the Southw.st quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 13,
Township 4!South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
as shown o~ a map recorded in Book 51, page 11, Miscellaneous
Maps, recotds of Orange County, lying northwesterly of the
northwest tine of Lot B of Tract No. 2655, as shown on a
map thereot recorded in Book 79, pages 1, 2, 3 and 4,
Miscel1anedus Maps, records of Orange County.
Excepting 4herefrom that portion conveyed to the Orange
County Flo~d Control District by deed recorded February 10,

WHEREAS, said parcels are hereby found and determined to be
excess to and not needed: for present or prospective uses by the City of
Anaheim for City purpose~; and

WHEREAS, the C~ty Council desires to dispose of parcels; and
WHEREAS, the S~rp1us Unimproved Land Act (Section 54220 et seq.
Government Code) require~ various public entities to offer said parcels
to certain public agenci~s prior to disposition of said property, and to
permit said entities sixty days in which to respond; and
WHEREAS, the f~ir market value of parcels is hereby determined
to be:

NOW, THEREFOREb BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that:
1. The City ~reby offers to sell said parcels for park,
recreational or open sPafe purposes, at the fair market value thereof,
to the County of Orange" the Orange County Harbors, Beaches and Parks
District, the State Res~rces Agency, the Orange County Housing Authority,
and the Anaheim Housing ~uthority.
2. The City q1erk be, and she is hereby, directed to mail
copies of this resolutiqn to the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Orange, the Board of Supjervisors of the County of Orange acting as the
Board of the. Orange Cou~y HarboI& Beaches and Parks District, the
State Resources Agency, 'the Anaheim Housing Authority and the Orange
County Housing Authorit~.
3. The Direc~r of the Public Works Department or his designee
is hereby authorized an~directed to solicit sealed bids for scdd parcels
by posting said parcels ~d advertising said sale in newspapers, should
the public entities 1is~d in paragraph 2 decline to purchase parcels.
4. Any revenqe derived from the sale of said property shall
be placed in the City Cquncil Contingen~y Fund Revenue Account.
