A RESOLU':fION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEaM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN A NDMENT TO THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS
AGREEMEN BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, THE
CITIES O. SANTA ANA, ANAHEIM, HUNTINGTON BEACH,
AND GARDItN GROVE RELATING TO THE ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER .. COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE ~ITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMEN1' ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, !on the 26th day of February, 1974, the
City Council of tfut City of Anaheim, pursuant to Resolution
No. 74R-87 authori~ed the City of Anaheim to enter into a
Joint Exercise of *owers Agreement between the County of
Orange and the cittes of Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, and
Garden Grove to cr~ate the Orange County Manpower Connnission;
and
WHEREAS, said Orange County Manpower Connnission
was established to assist the parties in the identification
of manpower needs, i the establishment of priorities, and the
development and im~lementation of a comprehensive manpower
plan; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that said Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement between the parties be amended; and
WHEREAS,;an amendment to said Joint Exercise of
Powers Agreement h,S this d$.y been submitted to the City of
Anaheim, the terms!and conditions of which are satisfactory
to the City.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the C:lty of AnaJP,eim that the terms and condit1onsof the
Amendment of Joint!Exercise of Powers Agreement for Orange
County Manpower cotission, this day submitted be, and the
same are hereby, a proved.
BE IT FUtiTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are authoriz$d and directed to executesa1d amendment
to agreement on be~alf of the City of Anaheim.
