RESOLUTION NO. 78R-834
A RESOLUIION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF A.A... HEIM AMENDING THE CONDITIONS
OF APPROV L CONTAINED IN RESOLUTION
NO. 6960 ELATING TO RECLASSIFICATION
NO. 60-61;98.
WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore adopted 'esolution No. 6960 approving Reclassification
No. 60-61-98, subje~t to certain conditions set forth in said
Resolution; and '
\~EREAS, ~he applicant has requested an amendment of
said conditions of approval and a duly noticed pUblic hearing
has been held pursu4n.>t to the provisions of Section 18.03.060
of the Anaheim Munidipal Code; and
WHEREAS, ~t is in the public interest and welfare to
amend said Resolutidn in the manner hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THER~FORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim!that the following condition is hereby
deleted from Resolu~ion No. 6960:
That the exist~g P-L (Parking-Landscaping) Zone,
along Los Ange~s Street between Vermont Avenue
and Ball Road ~all be maintained with the
exception that ~he required landscaping from the
,
southerly boun!ry of Tamasha Club parking lot,
including themasha Club, extending northerly
to Vermont Ave e, shall be reduced to a 6-foot
wide strip abut~ing the planned highway right-
of-way line of ~ubject properties; that the
60-foot buildin~ setback line shall be maintained,
and that street! trees shall be provided
approximately e~ery 40 ~eet adjacent to the
planned h1ghwaYlright-of-way line.
BE IT FURT~ER RESOLVED that the ~ollowing conditlons
are hereby added to Resolution No. 6960:
1. That all en~lneering requirements of the City of Anaheim
along Vermont Street!lncluding preparation of improvement plans
and installation of "11 improvements such as curbs and gutters,
~, sidewalks, street gr~ding and paving, drainage facilities or
other appurtenant wo~k, shall be complied with as required by
the City Engineer an~ in accordance with standard plans and
sDecifications on fi~e in the Office of the City Engineer; that
street lighting facilities along Anaheim Boulevard and Vermont
Street shall be installed prior to final building and zoning

inspections unless otherwise approved by the Director of Public
Utilities, and in ~ccordance with standard specifications on
file in the Office ~f the Director of Public Utilities; or that
a bond, certificate. of deposit, letter of credit, or cash, in
an amount and form isatisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall be
posted with the Cit& to guarantee that the above improvements are
installed prior to occupancy.
2. That the owner(s) of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the1sum of three and one-half dollars ($3.50)
per front foot along Vermont Street for street ligh~ing purposes.
3. That the oJ-mer(s) o'f subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the! sum of ninety-five cents (95r1!) per front foot
along Anaheim Boule~ard and Vermont Street for tree planting
purposes.
4. That sidewalks shall be installed along Anaheim Boulevard
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
5. That trash! storage areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved plans; on file with the Office of the Directo~ of
Public 'Works.
6. That fire pydrants shall be installed and charged as
required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department prior to commencement of structural framing.
7. That drain.ge of sUbject property shall be disposed of
in a manner satisfa~tory to the City Engineer.
S. That Condition Nos. 1, 2 and 3, above-mentioned, shall
be complied with prf-or to the time that a building permit is
issued, or within a'period of one year from the date hereof, or
such further time af the City Council may grant.
9. That Condition Nos. 4, 5 and 7, above-mentioned, shall
be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as expressly amended
herein, said Resolution No. 6960 shall remain in full force and
effect.

the City Council of'the City of Anaheim this 26th day of
December, 1978.
