THE AVIATI N WORK PROGRAM COMMITTEE OF THE
SOUTHERN C IFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERN-
MENTS TO OVE CHINO HILLS FOR CONSIDERA-
TION AS AN AIRPORT SITE.

WHEREAS, t City Council of the C~ty of Anaheim has
heretofore, by Resol tion No. 76R-72, expressed its opposition to
an airport in the Ch no Hills; and
WHEREAS, t Aviation Work Program Committee (Committee)
of the Southern Cali brnia Association of Governments (SCAG) is
studying potential s tes for a regional airport; and

WHEREAS, the Chino Hills site is one of those sites
being considered by pommittee.
NOVl, THEREnRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim oes hereby reaffirm its opposition to an air-
port in the Chino Hi Is.
BE IT FURTn'. R RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim does here ., urge the Conunittee to remove the Chino Hills
site from consideraton as an airport site.
BE IT FURTr. R RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorize. and directed to forward copies of this reso-
lution to committee.!"
