nated as Amendment Noi. 148 be adoPted by the City Council, cha.nging

and XVII in accordanc~ With each respective Exhibit "An thereor,
and making no Change .ith respect to Area XVII; and
WHEREAS, uPon receipt or said ResOlution, Summary or eVi-
dence, report or rind~gs and recommendations or the City Planning
COmmission, the City C!>llnCil dip rix the 12th day or Decenil>er, 1978,
as the time, and the C~ty Council Chamber in the City Hall as the
Place ror a pUbl1c heating on said propOsed Amendment No. 148 and
did give not~ce thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City COuncil did dUly hold and conduct such
pUblic hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oPpor_
tunityto be heard, and did receive eVidence and reports and did
consider the recOmmendations or the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does rind and determine tha.t
Amendment No. 148 Chang:l!ng the land USe designations in the arore_
described Areas I througt, XV and XVII in accordance with each re-
spective Exhibit "A" On rile With the City should be approved and
that Area XVII should remain unchanged, all as recommended by the
Planning Commission Resolution No. PC78-273.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council or the
City or Anaheim that Amendment No. 148 to the General Plan Changing
the land use deSignation ~or the aroredescribed Areas I through XV
in accordance with each respective Exhibit "A" thereor on rile with
the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.

remain unchanged tor Area XVI (Lakeview Avenue/cresCentDriVe) at
the present time;bowever, Area XVI in its present conrigurat~on
shall be deleted tir.om the Anaheim General Plan at sUch time as the
County or Orange hlis made a reconnnendat1:on that this area be deleted
rrom their General Plan and that some alternative route, sUch as
Kellogg Overpass, be designed and approved to help rel1eve trarric
Congestion.
BE IT FURrHER RESOLVED that the CircUlation Element be,
and the same is her~~y, amended ror Area XVII (Fantasy Way) in
accordance With Exhi~u "A" on rUe With the City.
BE IT FUR~R RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, in~'tructed to amend the General Plan Map to COn_
rorm to General Plan,Amendment No. 148, as herein adoPted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adoPted by the
