A RESO UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THECI OF ANAHEIM REAFFIRMING ITS
INTENT ON TO MAtE DISABILITY RETIRE-
MENT D fERMlNATtONS AND TO CERTIFY
DE TERM MATIONS to THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES'
RETIRE NT SYSTEM.
WHEREA&, the City of Anaheim is a contracting
agency of the Pu~lic Employees' Reti,rement System; and
WHEREA~:L thePuq1ic Employees' Retiremerit Law,
Government Code, ',Section 21020 et seq. requires a con-
tracting agency t::Iq determine whether an employee of such
agency isincapaditated for disability retirement and
whether such disability is industrial within the meaning
of such law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 78R-575
the City Council p.,id rescind the authority of the
Incumbent of the City Manager to make disability
retirement determlnations.
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that City
Council of the City of Anaheim does reaffirm its intention
to make disability retirement determinations and to certify
determinations to the Public Employees Retirement System.
THE FORtGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 12th day
of December , 1978 .
