RESOLUTION NO. 78R- ~
A RESOLUTION iF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHO IZING THE. FILING OF AN APPLICATION
FOR A.B. NO. 98 GRANT FUNDS IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE CITIES OF\GARDEN G~OVE AND ORANGE FOR A COM-
PREHENSIVE SEtVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR SENIOR
CITIZENS.
WHEREAS, the ~tate Legislature has heretofore approved
A.B. No. 998 creatingJ three year Pilot Multipurpose Senior
Services Project and king funds available for local senior
citizen programs; and '
WHEREAS, the qity of Anaheim desires to join with
the Cities of Garden G~ve and Orange in participating in
developing a comprehen~ve service delivery system for senior
citizens to be funded ~ A.B. No. 998 grant money; and
WHEREAS, the C[ty of Garden Grove will serve as the
lead agency for such prDject; and
WHEREAS, said project would be financed at no cost
to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim ~oes hereby approve and authorize the
filing of an applicatio~ for A.B. No. 998 grant funds in con-
junction with the Citie~ of Garden Grove and Orange for a
comprehensive service dflivery system for senior citizens.
BE IT FURTHER ~SOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of Anaheim, or his designated representative, be and he
is hereby authorized an4 directed to execute and file said
application, and all su~porting documents therefor, for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim. .
THE FOREGOING ~SOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the 'City of Anaheim this 12th day of
December , 197 .
