RESOLUTION NO. 78R- 772
A RESOLUTION OF THE C]TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ~EALING ~SbLUTIONNO. 77R-186
AND ADOPTING jA. NEW FEE SCHEDULE OF THE
NATIONAL ELEQ1RICAL CdDE.
WHEREAS, the kJity Council. pursuant to Resolution No.
77R-186, adopted a fee ~schedule of the National Electrical Code; and
WHEREAS. the ~ity Council does desire to repeal said
Resolution and adopt a new fee schedule for the National Electrical
Code;. and
WHEREAS, it ~ the policy of the City Council to adopt
a fee schedule for unifbrm codes by resolution.
NOW. THEREFO~, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that R$olution No. 77R-186 is hereby repealed and
that the following fee$chedule be, and the same is hereby. adopted
for the National Electr~cal Code:
NEW CONSTRUCTION
RESIDENTIAL: Single or. Multi-family Dwellings. Fees listed in
the following paragraph for residential new construction include
all electrical installation when formula is applied to the square
footage of area.
Two cents ($.02) p~r square foot. plus $5.00 for
each service meter. plus $10.00 for permit issuance.
One cent ($.01) pe~ square foot for detached or
attached garages op the same service.
HOTELS AND MOTELS: Use regular fee schedule for all areas except
garages.
One cent ($.01) pet square foot for detached or
attached garages oh the same service in hotel and
motel occupancies.
COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL AND ASSEMBLIES: Use regular fee schedule
below.

REGULAR F~E SCHEDULE
Issuance fee of $10.00, plus $5.00 for each meter socket on permit,
plus fees as listed belbw for installations. (For commercial
meters, see schedule.)
Each self contained factory wired approved unit, such as heating
and cooking, commercial and domestic appliance, vegetable case.

A fee of $25.00 shall be paid for each annual Maintenance
Electrician Permit at t1:le time such permit is issued. Fees
for all new work installed under such permit since date of
last previous inspectioh shall be paid according to the above
\~> schedule at the time such work is inspected; these fees shall
be in addition to fee paid at the time annual permit is issued.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of December , 1978.
