WHEREASL a Special Municipal Election was held
in the City of AIlFheim on November 7, 1978; and
WHEREAt~, one of .the propositionssubtriitted to
the qualified vo "s of the City of Anaheim was the
annual election ,.. the Mayor by the City Council (Pro-
position "C"); a
WHEREAS~' the voters of the City of Anaheim
decided by a consderable margin that the people of
said City shall coose their own Mayor; and '
WHEREASI, the City Council finds that said
election was bothlfairly and honestly held.
NOW, T ,REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the ,City
Council of the C. y of Anaheim that it does hereby
endorse the fai , 'ss, and qonesty of the November 7,
1978 Special Munipal El~ction held in the City of
Anaheim and appr ing the reJection by the qualified
voters of the Ci of Proposition "c" which provides
for the annual e ction of the Mayor by the City
Council.
