A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDbN A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET AND FIX- ING A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON. /~\ WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby elect to pro~eed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 194~ (Section 8300 et s~q., Streets and Highway Code) in connection[ with requests for vacation and abandonment of public streets Ipcated within the City of Anaheim. NOW, THER~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anah~im does hereby declare its intention to vacate, abandon an~close to public use the following described street, to wit: That portion o~ Coronado Street extending from Van Buren Street on the west to La Palma Avenue on the east, as said street is sib. own on a map or plan on file in the Office of the City Clerk o~ the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under- taken subject to th/e following reservations and exceptions in favor of the follow!ing persons or parties: r~ (1) Reservin~ unto the City of Anaheim a public utility easement for purpo~. s including, but not limited to, sewer, storm drain and water Ii . purposes~ over the entire portion of the road- way to be abandone. (2) Reservinm unto the Pacific Telephone Company an easement for telephone, tel~graph and communication purposes over the north- erly five feet of tlhe area to be abandoned, subject to the prior rights of the City jof Anaheim as reserved in Paragraph (1) above. BE IT FUtfrHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in or objecting to sa~d vacation and abandonment will be heard at a public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon there- after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 204 Eas~ Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on: December 19, 1978 BE IT FU~HER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of ~his resolution and shall cause the same to be pUblished in the A~aheimBulletin, a newspaper of general circula- tion, printed, pub]ished and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
