A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI APPROVING AN EXHIBITION AGREEMENT
BETWEEN T E CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE LOS
ANGELES . MS FOOTBALL COMPANY AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYORLAND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
EXHIBITION AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, .!he City of Anaheim has caused to, be built, and
it now operates, a . irst-class sports and activity center in the
County of Orange, S ate of California, including a-majors-ports
stadium known as Anheim Stadium, for the pUblic presentation of
major league baseba 1, football, soccer, track, field and other

sporting events andlnonsporting events; and
WHEREAS, ~t is proposed to expand the Stadium from its
eXisting seating ca~acity of approximately 44,000 seats to appro xi-
.matelY7l,000 seatslto accommodate spectator attendance for the
conduct and exhibit ton of National Football League games and other
events; and
WHEREAS, ~he City and the Los Angeles Rams Football
Company deSi. re that '. Company shall exhibit its professtona1 National
Football League gam<ts in Anaheim Stadium for the term and in accord-
ance with the covenants and conditions contained in an Exhibition
Agreement.
NOW, THER!FORE' BE IT RESOLVED that the covenants and
cond1 t10ns conta1ne :. in an Exhibition Agreement between the City
of Anaheim and the .os Angeles Football Company, a Maryland cor-
poration, are hereb. approved.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and-City Clerk be,
and they are hereby.~ authorized to execute said Exhibition Agree-
menton behalf of tqe City of Anaheim.
