A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBECITY
OF ANAHEli. APPROVING .THE 'TElt.~ AND CONDITIO. NS
OF AN AME DMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANABEl AND THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE, AND '
AUTHORIZI$G THE }1AYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AGREtMENT.' '
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is proposing to construct
certain signa1izati~m and roadway improvements on Orangewood
Avenue from Ninth Street to Euclid Street pursuant to Arterial
Highway Financing Ptogram Project No. 913 hereinafter referred
to as the "Project II; , and
WHEREAS, portions of the proposed improvements are in
the City of Garden Grove; and
WHEREAS, said cities consider it in the best interests of
economics and public safety to combine the improvements in their
respective jurisdictions into one project; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has heretofore been executed by
the parties to acco1Dp1ishtheaforesaid purpose; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to Agreement has been prepared,
the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THE~iFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an Amendment
to Agreement betweeh the City of Anaheim and the City of Garden
Grove for the construction of street improvements and signalization
be, and the same are hereby, approved. '
BE IT FURp::'HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are herebyl, authorized and directed to execute said
Amendment to Agree~ntfor and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 7th day of 'November ,
1978.
