A RESOLU!lO', N OF THE. ..CITYCOUNC.IL OF THE CITY ,
OF ANAHEI . . APPROVING THE TEBMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AG EMENT WI.TH INNER..;LOCK, INC. AND
AUTHORIZI G AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
. CLERK TO XECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. ' '
WHEREAS, lnner-Lock, Inc. desires to undertake a
certain project des~gnatedHelp Eliminate Rape Everwhere
(referred to herein: as"HERE,H) program and is qualified to
do so; and '
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has applied for and has
been granted funds py the United States Government under the
provisions of Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safety
Streets Act of 1968 (PL 90-351), through the Office of Criminal
Justice of the State of California to fund said HERE program;
and '
WHEREAS, ~heCity of Anaheim desires to make certain
monies available fot the HERE program to provide ~mergency crisis
and counseling servlcesas well astelephonehot1ineservicesto
Orange County rape victims; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared the terms and
conditions of which are acceptable to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THERtFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FU~RRESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are he~eby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGpING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of' the City of Anaheim this ' 17th day of
October , 1978.
