A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI, ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A I CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.

WHEREAS, ~he City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed ursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements acation Law (Section 50430et seq. Government
Code) in connectionjwith the vacation and abandonment of pUblic
service easements; ~nd
WHEREAS, ~he City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, givelnotice o~ its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described publiq service easement (hereinafter "Easement"),
to wit:
That certain e sement for public utility purposes,
5 feet wide, I ing within a portion of Fractional
Section 5, Tow ship 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. &
M., as describ d in the deed to the City of Anaheim,
recorded in Bo k 9245, pages 144 and 145, Official
Records of Ora ge County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning att1e southeast corner of Lot I of said
Section; thenc S 890 59' 38" W along the south line
of said Lot I, 535.67 feet to the true point of be-
ginning; thenc~ N 140 04' 36" E, 553.36 feet to the
point of inter "ection with a line parallel with the
south line of aid Lot I. The easterly and westerly
lines of said.OO-foot strip terminating at said
parallel line.
Excepting therdf'rom the southerly portion lying
within the rig~t of way of La Palma Avenue; and
WHEREAS, ~n the 17th day of October, 1978, a
hearing was held to ja,allOW interested persons to submit
concerning said proppsed abandonment; and

WHEREAS, ~e City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evideqce submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for prese~ or prospective public use.
NOW, THER~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim/does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement. .
