80R-352 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -352
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 80R -116
AND 80R -120 RELATING TO A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in
the City of Anaheim on November 4, 1980 for the purpose, in
part, of considering proposed amendments to Sections 500 and
1300 and Sections 501 and 504 of the Charter of the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore adopted Resolutions No. 80R -116 and 80R -120
authorizing certain of its members to file written arguments
for and against said proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said
Resolutions No. 80R -116 and 80R -120 in the manner hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolutions No.
80R -116 and 80R -120 be, and the same are hereby, amended by the
amendment of Section 2 of each such resolution to read as
follows:
"SECTION 2.
That this City Council, being the legislative body of
the City of Anaheim, hereby authorizes
COUNCILPERSON MIRIAM KAYWOOD
members of said }body, to file a written argument against the
City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance
with Section 5013 of the Elections Code of the State of
California by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or
against said measure may be submitted."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as expressly
amended herein, Resolutions No. 80R -116 and 80R -120 shall
remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of August,
1980.
