A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT WITH TRES COMPUTER SYSTEMS, INC., AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and TRES Computer Systems,
Inc., entered into an Agreement dated May 27, 1980, wherein TRES
Computer Systems, Inc., was hired to provide technical and
programming services relating to the Customer Information System
(CIS) maintenance and enhancements; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement contains a provision providing
that the compensation to be paid to TRES Computer Systems, Inc.,
will not exceed $90,000 without first obtaining the written consent
of the City so to do; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Board of the City of
Anaheim has recommended that the maximum compensation be increased
from $90,000 to $122,000; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to increase the amount of such compensation in said Agree-
ment in consideration for additional work to be performed by TRES
Computer Systems, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, a First Amendment to Agreement has been prepared
whereby TRES Computer Systems, Inc., will provide such additional
services; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said Amendment are
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Amendment are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
amended agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 12th da • August, 1980.
