80R-368 RESOLUTION NO. 80R-368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED
GRANT TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF OPEN SPACE
EASEMENTS CONSISTING OF OVER 504 ACRES OF
LAND IN ANAHEIM HILLS IS IN CONFORMITY WITH
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is considering the
acceptance of a proposed grant of easement for open space purposes
over approximately 504 acres of land in the Anaheim Hills area; and
WHEREAS, Section 65402 of the Government Code of the
State of California, provides in part that a local agency such
as the County of Orange shall not acquire real property nor dispose
of real property, nor construct a public building or structure in
any county or city, until the location, purpose, and extent of
such activity has been reported upon as to conformity with the
adopted general plan applicable thereof; and
WHEREAS, the proposed open space easements have been
reviewed by the City Council of the City of Anaheim in accordance
with Section 65402 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby find that the acceptance by the
County of Orange of the grant of open space easements in the
locations proposed at this time within the sphere of influence
of the City of Anaheim is in conformity with the City's adopted
general plan.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 'th day of August, 1980.
