80R-370 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -370
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 80R -116
RELATING TO A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held
in the City of Anaheim on November 4, 1980 for the purpose,
in part, of considering a proposed amendment to Sections 501
and 504 of the Charter of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore adopted Resolution No. 80R -116 authorizing
certain of its members to file a written argument for and
against said proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said
Resolution No. 80R -116 in the manner hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution
No. 80R -116 be, and the same is hereby, amended by the amend-
ment of Section 2 thereof to read as follows:
"SECTION 2.
That this City Council, being the legislative body
of the City of Anaheim, hereby authorizes
COUNCILPERSON MIRIAM KAYWOOD
members of said body, to file a written argument against the
City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with
Section 5013 of the Elections Code of the State of California
and to change said argument until and including the date fixed
by the City Clerk after which no arguments for or against said
measure may be submitted."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as expressly
amended herein, Resolution No. 80R -116 shall remain in full
force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of
August, 1980. -
