80R-375 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -375
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AS
PERMIT PARKING ONLY IN THE AREA OF THE ANAHEIM
CONVENTION CENTER
WHEREAS, Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code authorizes the City Council of the City of Anaheim, by
resolution, to restrict any City street, or portion thereof,
to permit parking only in accordance with the provisions of
said Section; and
WHEREAS, due to parking congestion on certain
streets in the vicinity of the Anaheim Convention Center, the
City Council hereby finds that the hereinafter designated
streets should be restricted to permit parking in the manner
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. Permit Parking Area No. 1:
The following streets, or portions thereof,
are hereby designated as Permit Parking Area No. 1 for which
separate area a distinctively colored valid parking permit
shall at all times be required for street parking pursuant to
the provisions of Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code:
A. West Street, east side only, from
Orangewood Avenue to Convention Way.
B. Orangewood Avenue, north side only,
from West Street to Eugene Street.
2. Permit Parking Area No. 2:
The following streets, or portions thereof,
are hereby designated as Permit Parking Area No. 2 for which
separate area a distinctively colored valid parking permit
shall at all times be required for street parking pursuant to
the provisions of Section 14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code:
A. Eleanor Drive, on both sides, from
West Street to Morgan Lane.
B. Morgan Lane, on both sides, from
Wakefield Place to Dewey Place.
C. Wakefield Place, on both sides, for
the entire length thereof.

D. Dewey Place, on both sides, for
the entire length thereof.
E. Wakefield Avenue, on both sides,
from Wakefield Place to Jacalene Lane.
F. Dewey Drive, on both sides, from
Dewey Place to Jacalene Lane.
G. Kathy Lane, on both sides, from
Wakefield Avenue to its northerly terminus.
H. Robert Lane, on both sides, from
Wakefield Avenue to its northerly terminus.
I. Jacalene Lane, on both sides,
between the north City limits and Casa Grande
Avenue.
J. West Street, west side only,
between the north City limits and Eleanor Drive.
3. The Convention Center General Manager and his
representatives are hereby authorized to issue parking permits
for Parking Permit Area No. 1 and Parking Permit Area No. 2,
without charge, in accordance with the provisions of Section
14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
4. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to
authorize vehicle parking at any location or at any time other-
wise prohibited by any other provision of law.
5. The provisions of this resolution and Section
14.32.450 of the Anaheim Municipal Code shall be deemed effective
as to any of the streets specified herein upon the posting of
signs upon such street giving notice of said parking restrictions.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of
August, 1980.
