A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING THAT THERE WAS NOT A
MAJORITY PROTEST AGAINST STREET LIGHTING
•--, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1980 -2, TRACT NO. 1859.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on July 29, 1980, adopt
Resolution No. 80R -323 setting the 19th day of August, 1980, at
the hour of 3 :00 o'clock P.M. and continued to 3:00 o'clock P.M.
on August 26, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the Anaheim Civic
Center in the City of Anaheim as the day, hour, and place when and
where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed
improvements to be made by the City under the Street Lighting Act
of 1931, in Street Lighting Assessment District 1980 -2, might
appear and show cause why the proposed improvements should not be
carried out; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there was not a majority protest,
either written or oral, made in the proceedings for the improvements
contemplated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does find and declare that there was
not a majority protest, either written or oral, made at said
hearing on August 19, 1980, or on August 26, 1980, in the proceed-
ings for certain contemplated improvements to be made by the City
under the Street Lighting Act of 1931, in Street Lighting Assess-
ment District 1980 -2.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day of August, 1980.
