80R-384 RESOLUTION NO. 80R-384
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A GRANT OF EASEMENT DEED FROM
" THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
EDISON COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to obtain the
relocation of a certain portion of an easement held by the Southern
California Edison Company ( "Edison ") in connection with the proposed
expansion of the Anaheim Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, Edison has heretofore agreed to execute a
partial quitclaim deed for the portion of the easement to be
relocated upon delivery of an executed grant of easement deed by
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
said conveyance to be in the public interest and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the aforesaid grant of easement deed
from the City of Anaheim to Edison be, and the same is hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim be, and they are hereby, authorized and
instructed to execute said grant of easement deed and deliver the
same to Edison.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of
September, 1980.
