A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS AND
APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A
REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE ANAHEIM
REDEELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, Section 33445 of the Health and Safety Code
permits a redevelopment agency to pay for the costs of certain
public improvements; and
WHEREAS, City is contemplating certain modifications
to the City's Senior Citizens' Center; and
WHEREAS, a reimbursement agreement has been prepared
with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does find and determine that:
(a) The modifications to the Senior Citizens Center
are of benefit to Redevelopment Project Alpha and to the
immediate neighborhood in which Project Alpha is located.
(b) There are no other reasonable means of financing
the modifications to the Senior Citizens' Center available to
the City of Anaheim.
(c) The terms and conditions of the Reimbursement
Agreement with the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency are hereby
approved.
(d) The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim
are hereby authorized to execute said Reimbursement Agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of
September, 1980.
