A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 158,
EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the llth day of August, 1980, the
City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a
public hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The
General Plan Amendment does consider changing the land use
designation for an area consisting of approximately 13.4
acres located on the south side of Rio Grande Drive approxi-
mately 420 feet west of the center line of Fairmont Boulevard;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Plan-
ning Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC80 -129
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that said
Amendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 158
not be adopted by the City Council, changing the land use
designation for the aforedescribed area in accordance with
Exhibit "A;" and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 23rd
day of September, 1980, as the time, and the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall as the place for a public hearing on
said proposed Amendment No. 158 and did give notice thereof
in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and
conduct such public hearing and did give all persons inter-
ested therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive
evidence and reports and did consider the recommendations of
the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amandment No. 158 changing the land use designation in
the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on
file with the City should not be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 158 to the General
Plan changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City be,
and the same is hereby, disapproved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of
September, 1980.
