80R-438 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -438
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION CONCERNING
THE USE OF A SELF- PROPELLED VEHICLE IN THE
ANAHEIM HALLOWEEN PARADE AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns a self - propelled vehicle
designed for the construction of parade floats; and
WHEREAS, the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA)
would like to use this self - propelled float body for the annual
Anaheim Halloween Parade; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public benefit to allow the YMCA to
use the City float for the Halloween Parade.
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of an agreement with the YMCA for the use of the City -owned
self - propelled Halloween Parade float vehicle be, and they are
hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
