80R-439 RESOLUTION NO. 80R -439
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING AN ADDITIONAL 18 DAYS TO
STORER CABLE TV, INC. TO PROVIDE FIRST
SUBSCRIBER SERVICE WITH CABLE TELEVISION IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 4087, the City
of Anaheim granted a non - exclusive franchise to Storer
Cable TV, Inc. for the installation of cable television system
in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 10 of Ordinance No. 4087
granting said cable television rights, Storer Cable TV, Inc.
is required to complete the installation of first subscriber
service within a certain fixed period; and
WHEREAS, because of rain, Storer has been unavoid-
ably detained from completing such services within the
appropriated time period; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to grant relief because
of the rain delay to Storer Cable TV, Inc. in order to avoid
a breach of Ordinance No. 4087.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the
provisions of Section 10(d) of Ordinance No. 4087, the City
Council does extend the period in which Storer Cable TV, Inc.
has to complete first subscriber service for its cable televi-
sion service a period of 18 days.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 30th day of
September, 1980.
