RESOLUTION NO. 80R -463
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED UP TO
/' THE HOUR OF 2:00 P.M. ON THE 21ST DAY OF
AUGUST, 1980, FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND INTER-
CONNECT - CANYON INDUSTRIAL AREA FEDERAL AID
URBAN PROJECT M- 3041(74).
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 15th day of July,
1980, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution
No. 80R -309 finding and determining that public convenience and
necessity required the Canyon Industrial Area Traffic Signal
Improvement, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the
City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting sealed
proposals for the above - mentioned public improvement and fixing
the 21st day of August, 1980, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as
the date and hour for the opening of said bids in the Anaheim Civic
Center Council Chambers, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, upon said 21st day of August, 1980, at the hour
of 2:00 o'clock P.M., the City Clerk and City Engineer did open the
bids received up to that hour, in public, in the Council Chambers,
in the City of Anaheim, and the City Engineer did review the bids
so received and did report the result thereof to the City Council
at its regular meeting held on the 14th day of October, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for the
benefit and best interests of the City of Anaheim to reject all
bids received; amend the specifications and readvertise said job
at a later date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the bids received up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock
P.M. on the 21st day of August, 1980, reviewed by the City Engineer
and submitted to the City Council on October 14, 1980, for the
Traffic Signals and Interconnect - Canyon Industrial Area Federal -
Aid Urban Project M- 3041(74) Project Account No. 01 -795- 6325- E5070,
be, and the same are hereby, rejected and that said job be readver-
tised at a later date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved a • adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim thi 14- d. f October, 1980.
