A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO CLOSE ALL KNOWN
INACTIVE BANK ACCOUNTS.
WHEREAS, a survey has been conducted, upon request by
the Finance Department of the City of Anaheim, on savings, check-
ing and other types of bank accounts that City departments and
program divisions maintain with financial institutions; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the survey was to establish and
provide the Finance Department with a master list of bank accounts
where City funds are deposited and transacted, so that the Finance
Department will be able to update the information and monitor the
bank accounts henceforth; and
WHEREAS, during the survey, seven inactive bank accounts,
with a zero balance and no current activities, have been noted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Finance Director of the City of
Anaheim take the necessary steps to close all known inactive bank
accounts as noted in the Audit Report of Bank Accounts Survey.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 28th day of October, 1980.
