A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A GRANT DEED WITH GLORIA
ROWE FOR CERTAIN SURPLUS CITY PROPERTY AT
�.. FAIRMONT SUBSTATION SITE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has acquired certain
property to construct the Fairmont Substation site; and
WHEREAS, as a result of certain design features, the
surplus of approximately 4,682 square feet has been generated;
and
WHEREAS, Gloria Rowe has agreed to allow the City of
Anaheim to construct an encroaching fill slope, the installation
and maintenance on the slope and granting permission to remove
approximately 5,000 cubic yards of earth from the surplus prop-
erty to use as fill on the Substation site; and
WHEREAS,_ it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to approve a grant deed to Gloria Rowe in exchange for
the fill slope installation and maintenance thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City does hereby
approve a grant deed to Gloria Rowe, more particularly described
in said deed, for the Fairmont Substation site of certain surplus
City property of approximately 4,682 square feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Grant Deed on be-
half of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of November, 1980.
