80R-523 RESOLUTION NO. 80R-523
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEY AND FIXING
A DATE FOR A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941, (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described
alley, to wit:
That certain public alley located parallel to
and approximately 134 feet south of Broadway,
extending from Atchison Street to a point
approximately 124 feet easterly thereof.
as said alley is shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these proceedings are
undertaken subject to the following reservations and exceptions
in favor of the following persons or parties:
1. an easement for public utility purposes,
including, but not limited to, electrical and
sanitary sewer purposes onto the City of Anaheim.
2. an easement for telephone and communications
purposes to the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph
Co., subject to the prior rights of the City
of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at
a public hearing to be held at 3 :00 o'clock P.M., or as soon
thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber
in the City Hall, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, California, on:
December 16, 1980
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of

general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of
November, 1980.
