80R-543 RESOLUTION NO. 80R- 543
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION,
GENERAL CITY EMPLOYEES UNIT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 3040 of the City of Anaheim establishes
the employer- employee relations system for the City; and
WHEREAS. Section 1.06.100 of Ordinance 3040 requires
Memorandums of Understanding to be presented to the City Council or its
statutory representative for determination; and
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding entered into between
the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association and the City of Anaheim
terminating on October 9, 1980 has been extended by prior Resolutions
of this Council through December 4, 1980, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
the adopting of a new Memorandum of Understanding executed on December 5
1980 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the Memorandum of Understanding between the City
of Anaheim and the Anaheim :Municipal Employees Association, General
City Employees Unit executed by the City Management Representative
and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association officials on December 5,
1980 meets with the approval of this Council and accordingly is adopted
with the effective date of October 10, 1980.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED -that, if any provision of the Memorandum
of Understanding or thi8 'resolt1tian'Is at any time, or in any way,
held to be unconstitutional by any court of proper jurisdiction, the
remainder of the Memorandum of Understanding and the remainder of this
Resolution shall not be affected thereby, and shall remain in full
force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9thAmi day of
