A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION,
CLERICAL UNIT.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 3040 of the City of Anaheim establishes
the employer - employee relations system for the City; and
WHEREAS, Section 1.06.100 of Ordinance 3040 requites;
Memorandums of Understanding to be presented to the City Co.iictl`or `
its statutory representative for determination; and
WHEREAS, the.'Memorandum of Understanding entered. into between
the Anaheim. Municipal Employees Association and the .City .of,Anaheimi a
terminating October 9, 1980 has been extended by prior Roetolutions1 , ,.
of this Council through December 4, 1980, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that the adopting of a new Memorandum of Understanding executed on ','
December 5, 1980 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of-Anaheim that the Memorandut of Understanding between , the City ' '
of Anaheim and the Anaheim eim Municipal Employees Association,' Clerical
Unit, executed by the City Management Representative and the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association officials on December 5 1$80 meets
with the approval of this Council and accordingly is adopted with :the
effective date of October 10, 1980.
BE IT FURTHER„1 ESOLVED that if any provision of the Memorandum
of Understanding or . rittar i sb`T to A,a.s tat..aaiy time, or in any way,
held to be uncoitstituti/ tal by any coi rty of proper jurisdiction, the
remainder of the Memorandum of Understanding and the remainder of this
Resolution shall not be affected thereby, and shall remain in full i
force and effect.
