A RESOLUTI~N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIMiAGREEING TO AN EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY
TAX REVENU,S PURSUANT TO SECTION 99(b) OF THE
REVENUE AN' TAXATION CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA!! RELATING TO THE DETACHMENT OF CER-
TAIN UNINH SITED TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AN THE ANNEXATION OF SAID TERRITORY
TO THE CIT OF ORANGE, DESIGNATED AS REORGANI-
ZATION NO. ! 47 .
WHEREAS, t*e City of Orange has heretofore adopted a reso-
lution of apPlicatio~ pursuant to Section 35140 of the Government
Code of the State Of~!.california proposing a municipal reorganization
for the detachment 0 certain uninhabited territory (hereinafter
"territory") from th City of Anaheim and the annexation of said
property into the bo mdaries of the City of Orange, which territory
is legally described jas follows:
Portions of sec~i.on 10 and 11, Township 4 South, Range
9 West, Rancho antiago de Santa Ana, in the County of
Orange, State o. California, described as follows:

as "South 890 4~' West, 5280 feet" in the present bound-
ary line of the ICity of Anaheim as established by the
"Yorba Annexatidn" to the City of Anaheim7 thence along

on a nontangent~icurve, concave Southeasterly, having a
radius of 1000. 0 feet, a radial line of said curve

WHEREAS, sa~d municipal reorganization has heretofore been
designated as "Reorga ization No. 47 Transfer from the City of
Anaheim to the City 0 Orange"; and

WHEREAS, th~ City Council of the City of Anaheim has here-
tofore evidenced its qonsent to said Reorganization No. 47 by the
adoption of its Resol~tion No. 80R-2467 and
WHEREAS, Seqtion 99(b) of the Revenue and Taxation Code
of the State of Califqrnia provides that, prior to the effective
date of any jurisdict~nal change, the governing bodies of all
agencies whose servic~ areas or service responsibilities would be
altered by such chang~ shall determine the amount of property tax
revenues to be exchanged between and among such affected agencies.

NOW, THEREFpRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim does hereby relinquish
unto the City of Orange any and all property tax revenue from the
aforesaid territory o~herwise accruing to and receivable by the City
of Anaheim from and a~ter the effective date of said Reorganization
No. 477 provided, how~ver, nothing contained herein shall be deemed
a relinquishment by t~e City of Anaheim of any and all property tax
revenue from the afor~said territory otherwise accruing to and re-
ceivable by the City of Anaheim for any tax year, or portion thereof,
occurring prior to th~ effective date of said Reorganization No. 47.
THE FOREGOI,G RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City o~ Anaheim this 16th day of December, 1980.
