WERE NO BI .$ RECEIVSD FOR THE SLOPE STORM
DAMAGE REP tR, ACCOQNT NO. 01-792-6325-E2650,
THAT SAID ~B NOT BR READVERTISED AND THAT SAID
IMPROVEMEN$ BE AWAItDED BY INFORMAL CONTRACT.
- WHEREAS, Ogthe 18th day -of November, 1980, Resolution
No. 80R-5l3 was adop d by thEt City Council finding and _
determining that pub c- convenience and necessity required
the Slope Storm Dama Repair-~ Tustin Avenue, Fairmont
Boulevard and Santa a Canyon Road, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, s~id Resolution No. 80R-513 did set the
4th day of December, 1}980, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., as the
date and hour for th~opening of said bids; and
WHEREAS, tij~ City Engineer did report to the City
Council that no bids {were received for the above-mentioned
public improvement; 4~d
WHEREAS, t~ Public Works Director does hereby
recommend to the Cit~:Council ,that said job not be readvertised
and that the Public ~~rks Dep~rtment be authorized to proceed
with the work by infqimal contract.

NOW, THE1....E,BE ~T RESOLVED by the Cit~ Council of
the City of Anaheim. at it wQuld be in the best interests of
the City that said jJ:> not be readvertised for public bid
and that the Pub1ic~rks Department be, and it i~ hereby,
authorized to proceed with the work by informal contract.
THE FOREGO~NG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council ~. the City of Anaheim this 16th day of
December, 1980.
