A RESO~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AN HIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT 0 i THAT PUBLIC ALLEY SOUTH OF BROADWAY
EXTENDnNG EASTERLY FROM ATCHISON STREET.
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution du~ posted and published, give notice of its
intention to vac~te and abandon the public street or alley here-
inafter describe~~ and
WHEREAS!, on the 16th day of December, 1980, a public
hearing was held Ito allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said ~oposed vacation and abandonment~ and
WHEREAS!, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evlidence submitted, that the public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for
present or prospe~tive public street purposes.
WHEREASI, the City Council does determine that the
public convenienc~ and necessity require the reservation and
exception of the ~asement(s) and right(s) of way hereinafter
specifically desc~ibed.
NOW, TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of An~eim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of that PUblic alley south of Broadway extending easterly
from Atchison Strbet, more specifically described as follows:
That certain. 20.00-foot easement for alley purposes in
the City of ~aheim, County of Orange, State of
California, ~ying between the north line of Lot 23 and
the south lihe of Lots 24 through 28, as shown in
Block G, of the Hotel Del Campo Tract, as per map
recorded in aook 24, pages 69 and 70, Miscellaneous
Maps, record~ of Los Angeles County, in the office of
the County R~corder of said Orange County.
Reserving th~refrom unto the City of Anaheim an ease-
ment under, ~cross and over the westerly 5.00 feet of
said alley fbr road and public utility purposes.
Reserving th~refrom unto the City of Anaheim an easement
for sanitary'sewer purposes over, under and across said
alley.

Also reservi~g therefrom unto the City of Anaheim an
easement for ingress and egress for sanitary maintenance
sewer purpos~s, including roadway improvements for
vehicular ingress and egress not less than 20 feet in
width over, under, along and across said alley.

Also r~serving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim
a publ~c utility easement for the installation
and mai!ntenance of underground and overhead electr ic
wires, ~ables and related facilities over, under,
and acriOSS said alley. Together with all reasonable
rights ~f ingress and egress.
Also r~serving therefrom unto the Pacific Telephone
and Tenegraph Company a public utility easement to
constr~ct, place, operate, inspect, maintain,
repair, repl.ce and remove such aerial and under-
ground Itelephone, telegraph and communication
struct~res, as the Company may, from time to time
requir~, consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables,
condui~s, manholes, markers and necessary fixtures
and ap~urtenances over said alley together with all
reason~ble rights of ingress and egress. Said
reserv~tion to said Telephone and Telegraph Company
is subjiect to the prior rights of the City of Anaheim
under the above-stated reservations.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, autho~ized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution ~nd Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FORBGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of December,
1980.
