WHEREAS ~id Pub1tc Works Department has prepared
said detailed desi.g~, plans ,1 profiles, drawin~s and specifi ca-
tions for the const~ction or said public improvement and has
submitted the same t~ the CitlY Council; and
WHEREAS, ~e City qouncil finds that said detailed
designs, plans, pro~~les, dr~ings and specifications for said
pUblic improvement ~ove ment,loned, are in accordance with good
engineering practice! iand are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the \Qity of Anaheim and the citizens and
residents in said a~a for tHe purposes for which they are
intended, and that ~.ey are ~dequate for the construction of
said public improve~nt and slhould be approved.
NOW, THER~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheimjt1hat the detailed designs, plans, profiles,
drawings and specif~~ations for said public improvement herein-
above mentioned and ;~escribed be, and the same are hereby
approved and adopte~ 'as prepared by said Public Works
Department
AND BE IT ~URTHER ~SOLVEDthat said public improvement
shall be constructe~in accordance with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, dr ' ings and specifications as prepared by said
Public Works Depart nt and herehy approved, and such
a en a or mo ca ons he to as may be approved prior to the
awarding of bids the~efor.
BE IT FUR~ER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and s~e is hereby authorized and directed to
publish a notice accjqrding to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of all] plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and all ~ilities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct
and complete, in a gpOd and workmanlike manner, in strict
accordance with said! ,detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings
and specifications ~I prepare'd by said Public Works
~et)ffitme~t'i the public improvements hereinabove
men one and descri~ied, and .fixing the 15th day of Januarv ,
1981, at the hour or 2:00 o'clock P.M. as the date and hour for
theopening of said bids at the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, and that said notice shal] be
pUblished twice, the first of which pub lications shall be at
least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of
bids, and that said piublications shall be at least five (5) days
apart.

AND BE IT ~URTHER RESOLVED that the successful bidder
or bidders shall be ~equired to enter into a contract with the
City of Anaheim in t~e manner and form approved by the City
Attorney of the City'of Anaheim for the construction, installa-
tion and completion pf said pUblic improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described, in accordance with the plans and
