THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
RSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 79R-338
THERETO AND ADJUSTING RATES OF
R CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED
AGEMENT.
WHEREAS, the need ha~ been established for adjusting rates of
compensation for certain ~xecutive management classifications, and
\~EREAS, as a resultl thereof, the need exists to supersede
Resolution No. 79R-338 an~ amendments thereto, and
WHEREAS, the City COrCil of the City of Anaheim does find
that adj usting the rates f compens.ation for these executive
management classification is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim. ..
NOW, THEREFORE BE ITI RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim as follows:
Section 1.
That effective October 10~: 1980, the basic compensation plan for
all officers and employee of the City of Anaheim who are now
employed or will in the f ture be employed in any of the classifications
listed below shall be all cated to the following salary schedules in the
Salary Schedule Master. .

Section 2.

In order for the rates o~ pay listed herein to be implemented as
of October 10, 1980, pur; ant to Section 1 thereof, the performance
of each officer and empl ee in the classes herein listed shall be
appropriately evaluated d the incumbent officers and employees
may be placed on any stePI in the above salary schedule based on
satisfactory performance ~valuation. Otherwise, the officer or
employee shall be compens~ted at his existing rate of pay until
it is appropriately dete~ned that the performance of said
officer or employee warra~ts assignment to a different step.
At such time as it is de~rmined that an increase in pay is
warranted t.hroug. h perfo nce evaluation, the officer or employee
may be plaqed on any high r step in the designated salary schedule
effective the first day 0; the pay period in which the determination
is made. .
Section 3.
The letter "X" preceding ~ schedule number indicates that employees
working in that job classl are exempt from overtime provisions as
provided in Personnel Rul~ 6.04, Premium Pay.
Section 4.
The regular hourly rate olE pay for employees working in job classes
listed in this Resolution! shall be computed as provided in Personnel
Rule 5, Hours of Work andl Pay Day.
THE FOREGOING RESOLU~ION is approved and adopted by the City
