A RESOLUTION QF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, CALI:Jf<l>RNIA, ~QUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OS THE COUlttY OF ORANGE TO RENDER
SPECIFIED SERVICES TO SAID CITY RELATING TO THE
CONDUCT OF A q!NERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD IN SAID Q!TY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 1980.
WHEREAS, a Ge~eral Municipal Election is to be held in
the City of Anaheim, California, on April 8, 1980; and
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and
in relation thereto it will be n~cessary to mail sample ballots
and polling place info~ation to the registered voters of the City,
and it will facilitate Such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of
the County of Orange will make available to said City the computer
record of the names and addresses of all eligible registered voters
in order that labels may be printed for attaching to self-mailer
sample ballot pamphlets; and
WHEREAS, all ~ecessary expense in performing this service
shall be paid by the CiUy of Anaheim;
NOW, THEREFO~J THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY'IlESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOiIS:
SECTION 1. T4at pursuant to the provisions of Section
22003 of the Elections Qode of the State of California, this City
Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to
permit the Registrar of Voters to prepare and furnish to said City
for use in conducting said election the computer record of the
names and addresses of all eligible registered voters in said City
in order that the City ~ay print labels to be attached to self-
mailer sample ballot pa~phlets; and will also furnish to the City
printed indices of the voters to be used by the precinct board at
the polling place; and will make available to the City additional
election equipment and assistance according to state law.

SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County
for services performed when the work is completed and upon presen-
tation to the City of a properly approved bill.

SECTION 3. T~at the City Clerk is hereby directed to
forward without delay tQ said Board of Supervisors and to said
~. Registrar of Voters, each a certified copy of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING ElESOLUTIQN is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of January, 1980.
