A RESOLlJrION PF THE CUl'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, CALf. RNIA, oJIDERING THE CANVASS OF
THE GENERAL . ICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
TUESDAY, APRI. 8, 19801, TO BE MADE BY THE CITY
CLERK.
WHEREAS, a ree' . lar general municipal election will be
held and conducted in t. '. City of Anaheim, California, on Tuesday,
April 8, 1980, as requied by law; and ~
WHEREAS, the p~ty Coun~il of said City desires the .canvass
of said election to be ~~de by the City Clerk of said City;
NOW, THEREFO~, THE CIty COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY! RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLL(I!1S :
SECTION 1. Tpat pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the
Elections Code of the S~ate of California, the canvass of the
regular general municippl election to be held in said city is hereby
ordered to be made by t~e City Clerk.
SECTION 2. T~at the City Clerk of said City shall prior
to April 15, 1980, comp~ete the canvass of said election and shall
certify the results to ~his City Council on April 15, 1980.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in
the book of original Re~olutions of said City; and shall make a '
minute of passage and a~option thereof in the records of the pro-
ceedings of the City Co~ncil of said City, in the minutes of the
meeting at which the sa*e is passed and adopted. .
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of January, 1980.
